March 2020 - 5 days on these rugged islands in the North Atlantic, unpredictable weather meant we could only photograph some of those days, but it is truly an amazing landscape location. We will definitely be going back.

Sørvágsvatn, Vagar Island
Beautiful view of the iconic lake above the sea on the Isle of Vagar. Long exposure, HDR image taken from the very peak of the overlooking cliff. I feel the need to say that it is a scary location, especially on this cold icy day in March - a slip could easily result in a fatal fall.
Mullafossa Waterfall, Gásadalur, Vagar Island
This waterfall is one of the most iconic in all of the Faroe Islands, with an impressive 60m drop into the Atlantic Ocean. This shot is a superwide stitched panorama made from 6 images.
Risin and Kellingin sea stacks, Tjornovik
It was a horrid day, hardly stopped raining - but sometimes you have to make the best of the conditions you have.
Sørvágsvatn Lake and Coast
Stitched panorama made from 6 portrait images, standing as close to the edge as I dared in the windy, icy conditions.
Kalsoy Coast Road
View of the coast road, on the way back from Kalsoy lighthouse in the snow.
The Locals
Very inquisitive sheep on Kalsoy.
Grass Roofed House
Rainy day on Vagar.
