Vasco II
A little earlier, colours are a little richer and the angle is a little more dynamic i think.
Vasco Da Gama Bridge
Dawn in May 2019.
Peniche Sunset
16mm 1.0s exposure to keep some pleasing interest in the sea. The turquoise colours really started showing through at sunset. Spent ages in different locations with a variety of exposure lengths. Wonderfull way to spend a few hours at sunset.
Evening Rocks
30s exposure at f9 using the Big Stopper and a hard grad on the horizon. Iām really enjoying the simplifying effect of the long exposures at the moment. Unusually for me, there is a man made element of the building in the top right, but I think its works ok.
Balancing Rock
20mm f4.5. Health and Safety would never have allowed this shot in the UK. I took my life in my own hands to get into position for this shot.
Rocky Cove
28mm for 30s. I really like the drama in the sea and sky and the blue tones against the orangey brown rocks.
Blue Hour Rocks
After the sun has peeked over the horizon, long exposures take on an unusual blue tone. Quite distinctive.
